Business Development Manager

Salary, working hours & location:
£76,083 per annum for 36 hours per week

This position’s contractual base will be County Hall, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 3AB

The Role:
Working as part of Surrey County Council's Information, Management and Technology leadership team, this role is pivotal in ensuring that the service expands its customer base across the public and private sector. This role will be responsible for the creation of a revenue generating function delivering £2-3 million turnover per annum.

The post has direct management of a team of 5-10 and will work within a networked senior leadership team across the County meaning it will be vital for the post holder to work in partnership with colleagues from across the organisation, partner organisations, and strategic suppliers.

The ideal candidate would have a commercial acumen, proven track record of business and service development, and experience of leading a revenue generating function.

The Information, Management and Technology service has seen significant improvements over the past few years in terms of improving customer satisfaction and providing effective support for the Council's transformation agenda. A service restructure has just been completed and we are looking to recruit to a focused and effective leadership team to continue to lead the service forward.

Programmes Manager

Salary, working hours & location:
£61,292 per annum for 36 hours per week

This position's contractual base will be County Hall, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 3AB

The Role:
Working as part of Surrey County Council's Information, Management and Technology leadership team, this role will lead a programme office to ensure that the service's workplan is delivered. The post holder will manage 70 - 100 colleagues and have a significant contributory impact on the Council's Information, Management and Technology budget of £24 million.

The ideal candidate would have an extensive knowledge of leading edge programme and project management and demonstrable experience of working in a leadership role to influence and engage others effectively at this level.

This position's contractual base will be County Hall, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 3AB

The Role:
Working as part of Surrey County Council's Information, Management and Technology leadership team, this role will lead on the effective delivery of first and second line services to support Surrey County Council and other customers. The post holder will be responsible for the management of approximately 50 staff and will have a significant contributory impact on the Council's Information, Management and Technology budget of £24 million.

The ideal candidate would have an extensive knowledge of leading edge customer services strategies and experience of leading and delivering customer service related improvements and continuous service improvement planning.

Salary, working hours & location:
£61,292 per annum for 36 hours per week

This position's contractual base will be County Hall, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 3AB

The Role:
Working as part of Surrey County Council's Information, Management and Technology leadership team, this role will ensure Surrey has the infrastructure to support the needs of over 8,000 users and deliver complex technical infrastructure projects. The post holder will manage approximately 100 colleagues and have a significant contributory impact on the Council's Information, Management and Technology budget of £24 million.

The ideal candidate would have an extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure strategy and the ability to lead on the implementation of infrastructure projects to meet the needs of the Council's technology roadmap and strategy.
